Is it wrong to call a guy?

I'm not looking for a relationship. From an ethical standpoint, is it wrong for a girl to call a guy, knowing nothing is expected? It seems like the tables are turning these days with girls using guys. Also, how can one really know someone else is disease-free (condoms don't protect for HPV and , right?).
