Does the laser 1 sailboat have a planing hull?

the laser 1 sailboat does have a planing hull. I weigh about 155 and can plane in about 10 to 12 mph wind. if you are heavier then you might need a bit more wind, and if lighter you will be able to plane in lighter winds.
