Kansas City Chiefs Question?

Why do people think that just because a few years of not doing well, everyone is always bashing them? If you actually ever payed attention to the team itself, they had a lot of nail biter games against really solid teams. They beat the Steelers last year, and at the end of the season blew out the Broncos 42-24. Sucky teams don't score 42 points fellas. Also, they are in a rebuilding process with all the old Patriots management which is pretty damn good(3 Superbowl's) they aren't getting the credit that they deserve. In my opinion Herm Edwards was the worst thing to ever hit KC soil. With a solid offense now, and a more than improving defense I don't understand why we can't be a winning team within the next 2 to 3 years. What do you think? Why do you guys hate on them sooo much?
