My computer is in a loop after unsuccessful restore?

Since the computer is not responding: Insert the recovery disc into the appropriate drive tray. Press and hold the On on approximately 5 seconds until the computer turns off. Then disconnect all peripheral devices from the computer except the monitor, the keyboard and the mouse. Then disconnect or remove all external drives and remove the media drive if your computer has one. Press the On on to turn the computer on. Your computer should start the recovery from the recovery disc. Follow the onscreen instructions. Insert the next disc if prompted. When the Recovery Manager finishes, remove the last disc. Click finish to restart the computer....I had this same thing happen to my computer, and come to find out one of the USB ports was going bad...
