Why doesn't yahoo chat work?

Ok, we're now going on WEEKS...this is what happens every time....i log into a Yahoo chat room....either using Yahoo Messenger, Yahelite, Yazak, or any of the other Yahoo chat client I can find....IF i get logged in at all, my posts are not seen by others, the lag time is horrendous, rooms are full of bots.....WTF, yahoo? Do you just not care about your reputation as a company?
