Can she have a healthy pregnancy and baby?

I have a friend who is 40 and has fibroids. Her son was stillborn last year at 33 weeks and she would like to have another baby. She has been advised to have a hysterectomy but the fibroids don't bother her at all. She has consulted with a couple of doctors already but would like to hear from others who may have any other insight as to what she should do.
