What kind of mpg can I expect?

I drive an infiniti g35 2003, my last fill up it said i got around 14.7 mpg, but I drove very slow and did not "floor it". I kept it under 2 rpm's every time I drove. Did i miscalculate or is this what real drives get and not epa estimate.
