Is it unlawful for a Canadian to share info about a released child molester?

I live in Ontario and I was just made aware of a child molester that got out of jail. Is it against the law for me to tell others about this man? I have his address, picture, and name. I know that in Canada the offender registry is not made available to the public, but I'm wondering if I can share info that I received privately (due to a friend that knows this family) with people in that area. Any legal facts would be great!
